Ferland Mendy – 4 – He had a noticeably less workload than Valverde. But despite playing quietly in this game. Mo Salah was still able to concede a penalty in the second half when he was caught off guard by the Egyptian winger. Fortunately, Salah missed the goal himself.
Antonio Rudiger – 5 – Had to be the mainstay in defence, but didn’t do a great job, leaving plenty of space for Nunez to attack, and there was no real edge to his game from the forward line.
